From The Complete Guide to Google Wave: How to Use Google Wave
Please tell people to remember to tag their public waves. Otherwise we can't find them :-(--Casebash 05:22, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- But how do people know what to tag/search for? There isn't an accepted vocabulary, is there? --GinaTrapani 01:24, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

- Interesting, so you can report a user as a spammer this way? I'm afraid to test becaus eI don't want to mess with anyone. --GinaTrapani 01:24, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
I would like to point out that currently, Gear is only available for OS X 10.5. It has NOT been updated for 10.6, a fact which is very, very puzzling considering that it was well known that Apple had been working on Snow Leopard for more than 6 month at the least, and it's been out since this summer. There are unofficial versions of Google Gear that fix this SL bug, but no official version from Google.
- Yes. --GinaTrapani 01:24, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

nit
- "The biggest advantage of sharing photos with others in Wave is the ability to collaborate on photo captions."
Really? The biggest? Mckoss 01:10, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, ONE of the biggest.--GinaTrapani 01:26, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
private reply question
If I add a Private Reply to a contact that is NOT in the parent wave - what happens? Wave lets me do this - but I don't know what the replied-to person will see. Will they be given access to the parent wave by virtue of being in a reply? Mckoss 01:23, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- No, they will not. They will only see the private interaction, and Wave will throw up a yellow bar that says something like "You don't have access to Wave ID #####" or something along those lines. It's weird behavior. --GinaTrapani 01:26, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Copy Waves, rename to Copy Blips?
RE: Copy Waves section. I realize that you clarify what it means to copy a blip to a new wave, but it's a little misleading to say that it's copying the wave. Maybe rename it to Copy Blips or Copy to New Wave, just as the actual Wave interface dropdown reads. Also, I assume that you try to find a Google Help source for every section - does the copying feature have a source? (This is probably the first trip-up I've run across in The Complete Guide so far. Great resource! Love the interactive nature of it.) --Zepfanman 05:12, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- Good idea, I renamed the section as per your suggestion. --GinaTrapani 00:36, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
Minor Edit
Under "Play a Photo Slide Show in Wave" first sentence: "When you add a photos to a wave, their thumbnails appears in-wave, much like the thumbnail view in Mac's Finder or Windows Explorer." Drop the "a"(fourth word). --JasonMR 18:05, 12 November 2009 (UTC+10)
- Good catch, thanks! --GinaTrapani 00:39, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
Google docs
Is there any way to integrate Google Docs with Wave? I am using the iFrame extension and it does a creditable job, but it requires going through too many steps to be really effective. If I had an extension wishlist, this would be number one.
Uploading Files
It might be worth noting that you cannot yet upload files, as this might confuse some people. Xor24 16:19, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- But you can upload files. --GinaTrapani 00:39, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
Attachment storage
Does Wave have an upper storage limit akin to Gmail's 7+GB?
